Candidate for Vice Chairman Clark County Republican Party Frank Ricotta is a Proud Member of the Grassroots and Tea Party Movement. He is a staunch Conservative. Frank was born and raised in Brooklyn New York where he resided for 49 years until moving to Las Vegas in 2003.
Joining the Clark County Republican Party in April of 2009 Frank was elected as the Coalitions Director in June. Since his election, Frank has organized and started many Coalition Groups in Las Vegas. Frank is directly responsible for the growth of the County Party for the past year by bringing many new members to the organization.
Frank has been involved in all aspects of the county party since becoming an officer. Fund raising, Creating the new County business card, organizing meetings, and office volunteer work. Frank was instrumental in organizing the CCRP Christmas party and creating the Pachyderm Poker Parties which raised thousands of dollars for the county party.
Frank was named the Interim Vice Chairman in 2010. Since assuming the role of Interim Vice Chair Frank has assumed the responsibilities of the office operations. In the few months as Vice chairman Frank has helped organize the office volunteer staff. Working closely with the other officers and the executive board Frank has helped created the Office Data Entry Center and the Office Call Center. Frank Ricotta has worked on many planning committees and was very active in the successful County wide Precinct meetings held in February 2010.
Frank Ricotta has represented the County Party in the media, being quoted in the Washington Times, Las Vegas Review Journal and has appeared on both local Radio and Television.
Frank has worked with many of Nevada’s elected officials and Candidates. Frank’s goal is to help the Clark county Republican Party be the most professional and efficient county party in the country.
If elected to the Vice Chair Position, Frank will continue to work hard for the Clark County Republican Party. Frank is a Family man being married to his wife Helen for 33 years. He has 2 sons Frank Jr and Nicholas.
A registered pharmacist in both New York and Nevada Frank has practiced pharmacy for 33 years. Having owned and operated numerous pharmacies in New York Frank has extensive business experience. Having successfully sold his independent pharmacy in New York Frank was licensed in Nevada in 2003. Currently Frank works as the Pharmacy Director at the Las Vegas Paiute Indian Medical Center. In additional to supervising the pharmacy department Frank also serves as the Medical centers Diabetic Educator for the last 6 years.
Frank became interested in Nevada Politics after the presidential elections in November 2008. Frank became the State director for the Nevada Patriots in March of 2009 growing the group from 75 to over 500 members. Frank Ricotta was instrumental in creating the Nevada Leaders Coalition and organizing the Grassroots Movement to bring conservatives into the Clark County Republican Party. Frank has been active in the Tea Party movement being directly involved with the planning and organizing of numerous Tea Party and protest events in Las Vegas. Frank Ricotta has been the local contact for the Tea Party Express for the last 2 years.

Why should you vote for me for the position of vice chairman of the Clark County Republican Party? First of all, this is not something I just want to do; it is something I feel compelled to do. Like many of you, I spent much of my life working and raising a family. There was never enough time to do many of the things I wanted to do and that included getting deeply involved in the political process. And now that I have the time, I want to repay this great Country for all that it has done for me. Since I retired I have walked a precinct in the last national election (something everyone should do), joined the Sun City Conservative Club, and listened and talked to candidates. After listening to the candidates, I decided it was time to expand my involvement by running for the vice chairman position.
I bring a unique set of skills acquired while serving 20 years in the United States Air Force and working in government and private industry after I retired from the Air Force. I learned a lot about politics while working in County government and much about the business world while working in private industry. I want to apply those acquired skills meeting the responsibilities of your vice chairman.
To give you an idea of how I reach decisions, I probably am one of the few who actually read the original Obama health care plan. And I arrived at the conclusion that it was indeed as bad as people were saying. I will bring that same reasoned approach to helping the Republican Party win elections in Clark County and in Nevada. And of course we must elect a President with someone who represents what the people of the United States believe. The issues are important and the candidates are important. I cannot promise that you will always agree with what I propose, but I will promise that I will support what I believe in and work diligently to earn your trust and help the Grand Old Party restore sanity to governing the Unites States.
I am sure Frank Ricotta will also do a fine job as vice chairman. Read both set of qualifications and make your decision based on facts and whom you think will do the best job for you, Clark County Republicans. Of course I think I am a better candidate, but what is important, is what you believe. VOTE!!! |
