Message from the Chairman

Introductory Message  from the NEW Chairman

Clark County Republican Party Chairman Bernie Zadrowski       I would like to begin by sending out a heartfelt thank you to all of you who made January 15, 2008 a very special day for the Zadrowski family. From a personal standpoint, those of you who worked so diligently over the last few months to get me elected are responsible for the tremendous amount of pride I now feel in being able to exert my best efforts in serving this Party. My wife and kids celebrated our election on the 16th! Now, however, we put that aside, roll up our sleeves, and begin our important work.

Let me also thank the many of you who were involved in the planning of this month’s Central Committee Meeting and making it run smoothly and successfully. Although it would be impossible to name everyone, I would like to extend a special thanks to the officers and members of the executive board (voting and nonvoting) who have continued to provide leadership during very difficult times, the representatives of the various Presidential campaigns, and all the candidate volunteers who worked so hard to “get out the vote.” The meeting was the largest I can remember in 10 years, with almost 500 central committee members present to cast their votes. That record number is due in no small part to all of you folks who have an interest in seeing that the GOP is successful in this year’s elections. Coming away from the central committee meeting, I felt confident and assured that we will rise to meet the challenge that the Democrats have given us. I have an earnest sense that we will be victorious at every level of elected office, from the local Assembly and Senate races that will be my personal focus, to the national elections in November. With a duplication of that kind of effort on Election Day, we will prove the pundits wrong and show them that the Reagan Revolution, although suffering setbacks in 2006, continues with renewed momentum and vigor.

As I am just now learning many of my new responsibilities and trying to adjust to the new responsibilities and trying to adjust to the new challenges of my new job, I don’t have much to write about this month other than my thanks and gratitude at the opportunity to serve. Allow me to end this message by assuring you that I intend to carry through with the promises I made to you on the campaign trail. I hope you know that all of you who answer the call and fight under the Republican banner are in my thoughts and prayers. I ask in return for not only your prayers, but also your time, effort, and energy. With your help, we will become like that “beacon light” that Ronald Reagan spoke of that guides freedom loving people everywhere. Thank you again for the opportunity to serve, and God bless.

         Bernie Zadrowski, Chairman
