March Message from the Chair
Under normal circumstances, my monthly
message would concern a political issue or cause that
is of some importance to us all as Republicans. Every
issue that we have talked about previously has been
important. Today, however, the importance is off the
charts because the consequences are DIRE.
The issue is money. Quite frankly, we
don't have any, and I am asking you to please help now.
We need it to carry on our important work.
As I said, under "normal circumstances"
the months following a presidential election year do
not have the important political activities and consequences.
I've seen it some years where we, pretty much, close
up shop after an election and get geared up later on
in the year.
These are not normal circumstances. We
are rebuilding the Clark County GOP so as to ensure
that what happened in last year's election NEVER happens
again. WE can never be allowed to get "ACORNED"
again! The liberals on the other side are highly trained,
organized, and well funded. In order to combat them,
here are some of the important things we are working
on right now:
Now, more than ever, we need Republicans
who are willing to fight for the Republican brand. We
need Republicans who will stand and fight for less government
intrusion into our daily lives and more fiscal responsibility.
We don't need the kind of leadership that says, ""Look,
there goes my people, I must find out which way they
are heading so that I may lead them."
- GOP New Voter Identification and Registration
Project
- "Party Switchers" ID Project,
designed to bring former Republicans back into the
fold
- Candidate recruitment efforts
- Coalition communication and building
programs, including renewed emphasis on youth and
college Republican organization efforts.
- Technology training through the highly
successful "G.E.T (Grassroots Education Training)"
program, designed to teach Republicans how to win
through the use of modern technology.
Obviously, this is not a complete list
of all the things we are doing at the Clark County Republican
Party, but you need to know that these are just some
of the things we are doing to get us back on the winning
track.
I know times are tough and we are all
feeling the pinch of a bad economy. However, I am asking
each and every one of you to commit to AT LEAST $10.00
per month. If you can give more, we would greatly appreciate
it. If you can't afford to give $10.00 per month, would
you consider a one time donation
of $25, $50, or $75?
At the bottom of this message is a link
that will direct you to our donation page where you
can give this much needed and very much appreciated
donation. I ask you to please give generously because
the future of the Clark County Republican Party depends
on it.
Thanks again for taking the time to read
my monthly message. More importantly, thank you for
contributing generously so that we may continue to fund
the rebuilding of our great party
Yours in Republican Service,
Bernie Zadrowski,
Clark County GOP Chairman
